The Seti River is one of the most beautiful and pristine rivers in the Himalayas. With dense remote jungle, exquisite sandy beaches and Class II-III whitewater running, this is the perfect river for beginner kayakers.

Our instructors are some of the best whitewater paddlers and kayak instructors in the world, with a strong history of running rivers worldwide.

The clinics are supported by state of the art rafting equipment which carries all personal gear, camping and other supplies down the Seti river to our campsites.

March to May is one of the best times to trek with lots of flowers in bloom, especially rhododendrons in the mountains. While the sky may not be crystal clear as during the autumn months, it is the second busiest season for trekking and travelling.

June to August is wet but the mountains and hills are covered with lush, full green forests and vegetation. The daily cloud coverage means that mountain views are not guaranteed but as very few people travel during this time it can present the perfect opportunity for people to explore the trails and nature in quiet.

September to November are the busiest months due to predictable weather and mostly clear skies. The mountain views are spectacular but the most popular trails can become quite busy.

The winter months of December to February are good to travel due to the clear skies and the reduced number of travellers. However, you should be prepared for cold temperatures.

Day 1 - 2: Seti River and overnight camping

We'll make our way down the Seti river during the day before overnighting at a campground and heading off again the next day. Before returning by car to Kathmandu.
